Fly Fishing Division

Fly Fishing Division

IGFA Rules and tackle specifications apply to all fly anglers.

  • 2 angler teams

  • Recommend 8wt to 10wt

  • 16 to 20lb tippet

Light Tackle Division

Light Tackle Division

Spin tackle, bait casters and hand liners

  • Anglers in the light tackle division must use artificial baits - No live bait or chum lines.

  • No restrictions on tippet strength. Recommend 20 to 25 lb tippet connected to braid or mono, but not enforcing any of this.

  • 2 person teams - max 2 teams per boat.

Kids Division

Kids Division

Approximately 13-17 year olds

  • 2 person teams - max 2 teams per boat.

  • Kids can be grouped together with a guide or can fish with guardian.

  • Kids Division follows the main point system.

  • A Young Amateur Award will be given to the top Angler of the weekend.
